I like Coca-cola Oil

This painting is from the series, 'Food on my mind', featuring children from different ethnicities, each focused on a specific type of food. The surreal nature of the series emphasises the reality of a global common obsession with food. Regardless of age or gender, increasingly children dream of the same types of foods. Paradoxically, it can also be said that thinking about certain foods can revert adults back into childhood. Cold carbonated drinks such as Coca Cola is the third most commonly consumed food/drink in the developing world (Journal of Paediatrics, 2010).
