Evening Peace Acrylic

Paul Stankevicius, British, 1983 - present.
"Evening Peace", 2024, acrylic on linen canvas.
Description: “A tranquil lake glimmers with impressionist colour, its surface catching thousands of tiny luminous dots and strokes that ripple into soft reflections. A graceful willow leans toward the water’s edge, its branches dissolving into delicate specks of green and brown. Around it, the forest gathers in layered clusters of dotted foliage, forming a quiet natural enclosure beneath a gently glowing pink sky. The scene feels suspended in serene stillness — a tapestry of shimmering points where light, colour, and nature merge into a peaceful, dreamlike harmony.”
