We have been to istanbul many times, and love it so much. A fascinating city with so much history and culture, I have painted different aspects many times
The waterfront is a favourite. This is a busy scene with ferries crossing the Bosphorus continually. The mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent is in the background
On the far shore, you can just make out people waiting to get on the ferry which is just coming in
