Description
One of Cornwall’s most iconic landmarks, Godrevy Lighthouse. Sitting on the northern edges of St Ives Bay the lighthouse protects shipping from the perils of the rocks which lie beyond. Difficult to access because of its position and the dangerous currents, the painting celebrates the ease with which the seagulls fly on by, untroubled by the physical constraints faced by humans. Painted in acrylic on wood panel measuring 18x14 inches (46x35cm) and framed in a white wooden tray frame. Ready to hang. Be transported to that windy, blustery day where the wind reminds us of how good it feels to be alive.
