Description
A watercolour painting of Poole harbour looking across towards Brownsea island on a sunny late afternoon. The sparking, spangles on the water from the late sun, gives a wonderful intense light. We often go to Poole and windsurfing. This was a photograph I took when we were down there. The late afternoon sunlight was beautifully intense, the strong contrast was captivating.
I had to paint this picture and by using just monochrome colours, it depicts the scene very aptly. The photograph in the room setting shows this piece framed, it is just an example of how it could look, it has a white mount but no frame. It is ready to frame.
