Description
Raja Ampat Ember is an abstract ode to the coral seas of Indonesia, where warm sunset fire meets deep ocean blue.
Inspired by the luminous waters of the Raja Ampat archipelago, the painting captures that fleeting moment when the sun ignites the sea : burnt orange and molten gold bursting over tranquil aqua and deep indigo depths. Heavily textured layers, scraped and glazed, create a sense of coral reefs, salt air and shifting tides beneath a soft, airy sky.
It was created with miscible oils and acrylics, pigments and textural mediums on gallery-wrapped canvas with black edges. No framing needed, ready to hang. The sides are painted black for a clean, contemporary finish.
This one-of-a-kind statement piece is truly stunning in person, photographs don't do it justice. :)
