Description

This fine art photograph explores the graphic, abstract beauty of the Port House (Havenhuis) in Antwerp, Belgium. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects for the Antwerp Port Authority, the building's dramatic contemporary form appears to float above the former fire station below. Colour is central to the composition — the warm, muted tones of the concrete and glass set against a quiet sky — emphasising the contrast between heritage and bold contemporary design.
