Interests

I am fascinated by the individuality and character found in animals, wildlife and the natural world. Much of my inspiration comes from the countryside surrounding my studio and gallery in Chepstow, particularly the changing light, weather and atmosphere of the Wye Valley and River Severn.
I am also drawn to music, fashion and popular culture, which inspire my Icons of the Wild collection. These works allow me to combine expressive animal portraiture with storytelling, imagination and a playful sense of individuality.
Beyond painting, I enjoy exploring new ideas, observing the character and movement of my subjects, and creating work that brings a sense of connection, curiosity and joy to the viewer.
