Artistic background

Meet Omeiza A. Yaqub a self taught artist from Nigeria.
As a visual artist, my mode of expression is drawing Being the oldest form of human expression sends me back to that kid that barely speaks in school but would rather illustrate scenes in my notebook.
I remember my matchstick men and speech bubbles which my peers which my peers would be looking forward to read after school hours. I guess what I'm trying to say is "I prefer my words in pictures form"
I have always seen art as a means of communication rather than just for aesthetical purpose.
I employ a couple of mediums to create my work, it depends mainly on what the idea/concept I am trying to create. However, I use graphite, charcoal, acrylic/ oil paints and digital medium just to get bring those ideas to life
