Sara Spencer

Artistic background

Sara creates joyful, colourful art that lifts the spirits. She has been painting since 2011 and has sold many pieces of artwork all over the world since then. Sara’s artwork is varied from landscapes, seascapes to abstracts and collages. Often Sara upcycles old ornaments and gives them a second life, rather than them being thrown into landfill.

Sara has had no formal training from art school and is self taught taking inspiration from her surroundings and travels. She is British and lived in the UK, moved to France in 2001 for 20 years and then to Alderney in the Channel Islands. Last year Sara returned to the UK and is now living near Dartmoor in Devon.
She has participated in many exhibitions in France and in Alderney and won first prize in a local art competition in the Herault and one of the runners up in Escape to the Chateau Christmas Card competition.

Sara paints mostly in acrylic paint but also enjoys watercolour painting.
