As far back as Marta can remember she has always been passionate about painting. It has been a way to escape from the everyday routine, and express herself. Marta is Northampton based Artist. The current work reflects her interest in nature and abstract. She works primarily with acrylics to explore the balance between structure and spontaneity. Through layered surfaces, shifting transparencies, and dynamic colour interactions, her paintings reveal traces of process while holding space for ambiguity. Each work invites reflection of the complexity of memory, perception and lived experience. She creates a lot of texture to bring paintings to life. Marta is always trying new things which help her style to keep evolving Tools: brush, an apple, sponge, her fingers, palette knife. Thank you.Exhibitions:
