Artistic background

Driven by her passion for color, shape and beauty, Marinela is a contemporary artist who creates works of art that reveal that this passion is the essence that gives excitement and harmony. Her artworks are original paintings with fine and subtle lines, rich in contrasts and depth, prompting the viewer to reflect on feelings such as fascination, the sublime and innocence.

To define her own style, she explored and tackled different subjects and painting techniques, but ultimately chose floral art, created in an abstract organic style. These original artworks have been featured in numerous exhibitions in her country and are also present in international online galleries such as Wescover, Saatchi, Artfinder, Artmajeur, ArtGallery.co.uk, TRiCERA, ending up in private collections in Europe and the USA.

During her artistic activity she was deeply inspired and impressed by some great painters such as Georgia O'Keeffe who loved intense colors and used to enlarge and cut out the image of flowers. Claude Monet gave her the bright and luminous perspective of his paintings, and Gustave Klimt the courage to mix the abstract with the real, the abstract organic with the geometric, thus giving a strong decorative touch to the original works of art.

Marinela feels that her purpose and mission as an artist is to give people the opportunity to dive into the colorful world of contemporary art through modern, unique and original paintings.
