Artistic background

Dharmishta Patel is a watercolour artist who loves creating artwork that instantly evokes strong emotional experiences. Her art, comes from the soul and her creations stem from personal experiences of freedom, change and acceptance. She strives to communicate her feelings through her art and hopes that it resonates with others.
Dharmishta is sometimes driven by intuition, resulting in fluid unplanned creations. These pieces demonstrate her natural aptitude of watercolour and an adoption of these creative techniques.

Interests

I enjoy using watercolours to create hard and soft edges and strong vibrant pastel effects. In addition, I sometimes experiment with gouache to create a more striking appearance. My work is driven by my personal experiences, imagination and the outdoor beauty. I enjoy writing poetry, love nature and spending time with family.
