Mark Cawood
Artistic background
From an early age I preferred to communicate through drawing and painting, and eventually attended art college as a mature student aged thirty-one, graduating with a Fine Art degree at the University of East London in 2000.I have since exhibited and sold artwork focusing on contemporary themes such as animal welfare and global warming. I became a Dtlls qualified lecturer specialising in Art and English in the 'Lifelong Learning' and 'Skills for Independent Living' sectors. Published my book 'Heavyrainbows' in 2024, with an accompanying website: heavyrainbows.com that showcases my latest work and relevant exhibitions.
