Artistic background

As an Artist, I am inspired by the natural world. Not just by animals or by individual beautiful things, but as a collection of different and conflicting elements that come together to create a larger being. An ecosystem.

The connections in nature are hugely influential to me from the root systems of trees to the murmurations of birds.
As a natural world Artist research is a huge part of the process. It gives me the tools to find ways to create greater depth, form and texture in my expressions of nature’s infinite designs.

I could draw devastation, habitat destruction and soul destroying scenes. But my faith in humanity encourages me to simply reflect on natures beauty, in the hope that it will encourage people to do the right thing.
To come together for a better future for all.

As I get older I become more interested in the passage of time. It’s judgements, it’s lessons, it’s rewards, it’s motivations and it’s regrets.
But yet my love for my practice always remains timeless, untarnished, resilient and unmovable.
A point to always return to wherever my journey takes me- a place of reflection.

My current body of work includes studies of elements, concepts and environmental issues that I have found to be interesting. I like to use my artwork to tell important and thought provoking stories.

I see the world differently.
