Artistic background

My name is Susan and I trained as a Fine artist many years ago. I was Artist in Residence at Muncaster castle and before that a designer at Bramall Hall an Elizabethan Manor house .
I live in a beautiful part of the world, in West Cumbria the wilder side of the Lake District.
I work in many mediums including pencil, pastel, watercolour, acrylic.
I also so crafts including, knitting, sewing, jewellery, Verre eglomise, pyrography, silk painting and more.
Cumbria is so conducive and inspiring for all my work. I am never short of ideas.
I have my own online business www.neatecrafts.co.uk where I create everything including paintings and crafts.
I am an award winning artist .
