Artistic background
I am a professional German artist with more than 20 years of experience in abstract and floral painting. Art has always been part of my life – I am the granddaughter of painter Johann Keuten and later studied and worked with artist Jean Pellen in Düsseldorf.Since 2003, I have run my own gallery and framing studio in Geldern, Germany. My paintings are created mainly with acrylics and often feature strong textures, layered surfaces, sand, modelling paste and genuine gold leaf.
I am inspired by the sea, changing landscapes, blossoms, traces of time and the interplay of colour, structure and light. My work ranges from calm, atmospheric compositions to bold contemporary abstracts and can be found in private collections around the world.
