Artistic background

Hi, I am Bridget a self-taught mixed media artist based in Suffolk, UK.

Art has always been an important part of my life and have worked in many different mediums over the years and many different styles.

During Lockdown I started to think about all the places I would like to visit but couldn’t and this inspired a series of artworks based on different locations around the world.

I love the bright colours and textures from different types of handmade paper and I have always collected interesting scraps of fabric. I think my style is mainly Naïve but I do try to add detail as well.
