Artistic background
I am a freelance London artist based in Nottinghamshire. I have attended classes by two well known Nottinghamshire artists Christine Measures and Marjorie Arnfield. I have attended local life drawing classes and many workshops.I have recently started to produce a series of paintings of flamenco dancers. I usually begin with my own images or researching images and my artist mannequin. I like to paint alla prima "at first attempt" as there is always an element of unpredictability, no matter how much control you paint with.
