Artistic background

My artistic journey began some 30 + years ago with watercolours. After a few years, having reached a reasonable standard, I moved into the world of Oils. I had a reasonable level of success but without a real feeling of achievement. It was at this point, some 12 years ago that I found pastels and have never looked back. The immediacy and vibrancy of the medium captivated me, I had found what I had been looking for, and have thoroughly enjoyed my journey through to today.
