Artistic background

Initially I started watching the late, great Bob Ross and had a go at landscapes in acrylics.

Then in January 2025 I was diagnosed with a debilitating brain disorder and had to stop working. To stay positive, I joined some art groups on Facebook and found Beginners Acrylic Art and an art teacher, Jenny Hardacre, who ran the group. She does free painting classes on Facebook. So I started doing those. Then I joined her monthly membership art classes. I loved her style of teaching so much that I had four one to one sessions with her and undertook her online acrylic mastery course, beginner to expert.
