Artistic background

Mainly self taught, I didn't start painting until my mid 60's after my eldest daughter bought me a basic water colour set to pass time during lockdown. I quickly got the bug and bought more painting equipment. My paintings are mainly water colour on high quality paper and I guess my style is modern contemporary with a slight impressionist flavour.

Interests

Apart from art, most sport, reading, cooking, walking, music and spending time with my grandchildren.
