Artistic background

Laure is a contemporary British painter known for her vibrant landscapes, seascapes, colour compositions with butterflies and birds.

She has lived in several different countries including France, Spain and Mexico which have influenced her colour palette as well as her subject matter. She now lives in Devon on the edge of Dartmoor and is particularly interested in the practise of mindfulness in the creation of her paintings.

The beauty, light and simplicity of her work have made her an international best seller.

Interests

Laure is passionate about nature. She is inspired by her partially re-wilded garden where she has planted over 150 trees. Birds, butterflies, flowers and the beauty of nature are her constant companions.
