Description
The woods near where I live in Wales are carpeted with bluebells in late March/early April and it is a glorious sight. Mostly under the smooth trunks of beech trees that are only just beginning to open their leaves, the purple/blue of the bluebell flowers sparkle in the light.
This piece is painted on a beech-wood board, and I have left the edges of the board unpainted to show the beauty of the wood-grain.
