House across the bridge Acrylic

Inspired by a waterfall running through a landscape at night time in Ceylon.This was a common scenery for the artist in her childhood when traveling to her grand parents house on late evenings at the end of the week. At a young ages seeing this hotel lit up by the dim street lights surronded by dark hills , the artist would know her grandparents house was close by. The trickling waterfall that was partially lit up and the bridge that connected the large house to the other houses on the street the artist found embedded in her memory even after leaving her birth country.
