Description
Painted this wave from on site watercolour sketches, just out from the harbour of Port Isaac. A traditional Cornish fishing village on the north coast, known for its picturesque narrow streets and historic harbour. It gained fame as the filming location for the TV series Doc Martin and as the home of the Fisherman's Friends sea shanty group.
Painted on a gesso primed masonite board, using artist quality Windsor & Newton oil paints, then a coat of varnish to make the colours come alive.
