Description

The bleakness of this scene captured my imagination. It’s not far from where I live. I was on my way to Skipton. The wind was howling over the moors, blowing the snow into drifts. I ventured out of the car into the cold winter air with my sketch pad. The sky was full of snow, and my ears were freezing. I returned to the car in a hurry and put the heater on. I quickly sketched the scene as the snow through the car window. Ref SN0245 Frame included.
