Sunflower 2 Pastels

This pastel painting shows a sunflower in full bloom. With a gentle touch, the softness of the pastel is able to portray the fragility of the flower alongside the large bold centre. I have given the flower a stem and leaves and an implied background of more foliage and flowers.
This is an unframed pastel painting on paper that will need to be framed. I have mounted it on a piece of foam board, covered the painting with clear plastic and put a mount over the top. Then I have inserted this into a portfolio bag to keep the painting from damage.
The opening in the mount is 20cm x 28cm.
