Description
I prepared the canvas with gesso, used a sponge and blush brush for the background, and white and black paint to make the stone.
Thoughts of a Stone
"How many thoughts can a stone hold? This stone has heard countless conversations: laughter, tears, silence, and noise. Through war and peace, it has observed the ceaseless flow of people passing through the Isle of Wight.
It remains there—its thoughts deeply rooted and silent—contemplating where it would go if it could. Knowing it cannot move, it waits for the tide to rise and fall. Only time and weather have the power to transform it, slowly carving history onto its surface. Yet it remains: a heavy heart of stone. As the world rushes past, perhaps you, too, have glimpsed its train of thought."
