Description

Driving through the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia on a cold March day. The hillsides are mostly covered in brown winter vegetation, with just some lower areas beginning to show some green. The mountain tops are snow covered and the sky shows blue-grey clouds. A truck is in the distance coming towards the viewer: I put this in to show scale.
I have painted this piece loosely with sweeping strokes of the brush.
The edges of the canvas are painted white so it can be hung on the wall without a frame, or placed into a frame if preferred.
