Winter Guest. The Varied Tit. Oil

Winter Guest. The Varied Tit.
I captured this quiet moment of a Varied Tit resting on a frost-covered branch. I wanted to show the contrast between the cold, creamy background and the warm, rusty orange feathers of the bird. It is a spark of life and resilience in the middle of winter.
Using a palette knife and heavy impasto, I created a rich, tactile surface where the feathers and bark feel almost 3D. This wildlife art piece is designed to bring a touch of nature-infused energy and rustic charm to your home. It is a small but vibrant reminder of the beauty found in the wild.
