BAR CENTRALE Drawing

This picture is the epitome of an Italian bar that always has their regular customers who while away hours sitting outside, or inside, depending on the weather. This was on a sunny day in Finalborgo, Liguria and this gentleman was watching the world go by outside....perhaps waiting for a friend? I did an initial sketch then decided to elaborate it into a detailed drawing and adding a touch of colour to home. It took me many hours to complete and I hope you like it!
Graphite and watercolour on hot pressed, acid-free, 300gsm
watercolour paper. The artwork is A3 size ready for your choice of mount and frame. (The framed picture is for illustration purposes only) NB this was very difficult to photograph the correct tone of grey so I’ve uploaded several photos to give a better idea of the colour. It’s actually somewhere between the two.
