Description

A glass vase containing purple, blue, white and red flowers. The 'stars of the show' are the red poppies which are offset by the other colours and the grey background. The inspiration for this painting was a vase of flowers taken from my garden. They are delicate and ethereal flowers.
This is painted on a birch board, and I have left the sides unpainted to show the beauty of the wood. It can be hung as it is, or put into a frame.
