Sea Turtle 2 Acrylic

I mentioned in the description to my earlier painting of a green turtle encountered when snorkelling in the marine reserve of St Barts in the North Leeward Islands that I had taken several photos of it .

This painting is based on a close up photo I managed to take when it came up for air whilst feeding . Despite the apparent languid movement they are deceptively fast so I was lucky to get close .

The painting is in acrylic on acrylic paper 140 lb. It is unframed .
