The Chain Gang Watercolours

'The Chain Gang' is a watercolour painting created with a very high level of detail using Daniel Smith watercolour paints on Royal Watercolour Society own brand paper. This steam punk style, still life artwork shows three gold finches fluttering around a rusting old water pump with a completely seized up chain connecting two of the wheels. I've concentrated on using golden hues and blues with good granulation properties, to give the impression of rust and rough texture.

Measuring approximately 15.5 inches x 9.5 inches, this piece is presented in a white mount within a complimentary distressed silver gilt frame, to a total size of about 23 x 17 inches, ready to hang. It is signed on the front and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
