Description

Visiting the Roman forum museum in Cartagena , Spain , I was taken by the sight of these amphorae leaning against the original Roman wall . I liked the mix of colour and texture and thought it would make a fine composition which I have painted using the source photo I took .

I have worked in watercolour on Bockingford CP(NOT) 140 lb paper .
