Description
This is a painting of the head of a bald eagle looking out at the viewer. The gleaming white feathers and sharp yellow beak set off the menacing large yellow eyes. These eyes and beak may intimidate other birds, particularly osprey, from which they steal their fish. Sometimes known as sea eagles, they prefer to steal rather than catch fish for themselves.
Painted on canvas board 20cm x 20cm, this painting is framed in a light-oak wood effect frame 3 cm wide.
