There had been a festival during the day and the town`s lights burned bright into the night: Colle di Val d'Elsa known as the Crystal City ( famed for glass making).
Located in the heart of Tuscany, Colle di Val d'Elsa is a picturesque town steeped in history and artistic heritage.
I painted quickly in a loose style from a sketch to capture the mood and atmosphere of the evening.
