Description

On a very wet and windy day in January, we drove around Buttermere in the English Lake District. The scenery was spectacular, but dark and menacing, but then the sun peeped out from behind the clouds and the whole scene changed, it was amazingly beautiful and I have tried to capture the colour and majesty of the mountains and river valley, Nature in the raw.
