Description

A long narrow painting of an emu head and neck. The bird is giving an intensive stare straight at the viewer with its big red eyes, and its feathers are 'all over the place' as if it is having a 'bad hair day'. I did an underpainting in pink and blue and allowed both these colours to show through.
I have painted the sides of this deep canvas so it can be hung on the wall without framing if preferred.
