Chinese Lanterns Oil

I am very fond of this display of dried flowers, which is made up of orange Chinese Lanterns, white Honesty seed-heads, Bullrushes and flowering grasses. I used orange throughout the painting and gave it a turquoise background, which works well with the orange. I love the way the honesty stems twist and turn and used that to full advantage in my composition.
I have continued the painting around the edges of the canvas so that it can be hung on the wall without framing.
I will ship in a cardboard box.
