Description

The poinsettia is associated with Christmas in the United Kingdom when the shops become filled with them, and they have almost become a Christmas decoration. This painting can decorate the house all year with this beautiful flower.
I have used a dark background to make the flower pop forward and a mixture of different red tones to add interest to the flower.
Painted on a canvas board, I have glued hanging loops onto the back of the board so it can be hung as it is, however, it would be easy to buy a standard 16" x 16" frame to put it into if wished.
