With these shapes and colours I wanted to achieve a bit of drama. Using black for the main shape and completement it with a bit of white are all helping this, but still keeping the abstract figure on the "kinder" side. This shape is inspired by an old black statue I have seen in Europe, if I remember correctly that was rather about a mother with her child.
Finished with satin varnish, signed and dated on the back.
