Horizon Acrylic

Teal is one of my favourite colours, as it is often acts like a joker between being blue or maybe green. Similarly to one of my earlier works Bifröst, I wanted a similar look, but with less and cautious saturation in the middle. The main inspiration behind this piece is the far horizon of a low tide beach with the drapes and yellows of the sand. We rather see this colour of the sea around our favourite place, Cornwall, where the teals are indeed incredible. I wanted to achieve the look of how the sandy beach is meeting up with the horizon and the blue sea in the distance.

Finished with satin varnish, signed and dated on the back. Please note this is an unmounted and unframed work and will be shipped safely in a tube with certificate of authenticity.
