Floral Symphony Acrylic

A vibrant contemporary floral painted in expressive impasto, where colour and gesture build the image more than drawing. Thick layers of acrylic form raised petals and stems, while fluid marks and drips create movement across the surface. The composition suggests a wild meadow seen in sunlight.

The work plays with contrast. Dense paint sits beside thin washes. Matte passages meet naturally glossy ones. Because of this surface dialogue, the painting is intentionally left unvarnished so the viewer can clearly see the original material qualities and brushwork.

Painted on 380 gsm cotton canvas, stretched on a wooden frame. Edges are painted, so the piece can be displayed without framing if desired.

Each mark remains visible and direct, preserving the immediacy of the painting process and emphasizing texture, depth, and light across the field of flowers.
