This is an original encaustic painting featuring a Scottish landscape. Encaustic work is an ancient method of painting which involves fusing wax, hardening agent and pigments with heat. In this work I have used hot wax with oil paints to produce this colourful landscape.

This framed artwork will be posted out by first class Royal Mail. The painting will be covered with glassine paper before it is carefully encased in bubble wrap (or equivalent). It will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box.
