Description
An original painting of a Fern, using Brusho powder. This is a highly pigmented watercolour, which produces vibrant colours by sprinkling the powder onto wet paper, spraying water onto dry powder, or mixing it with water to create a traditional liquid watercolour paint.
I have used 300gsm watercolour paper, the size is 16x12 inches or 40.64x30.48cm
I began by sprinkling different colours of greens, a blue and yellow onto the paper, then using a spray bottle filled with water, I sprayed the powders to enable the colours to mix, I then let the colours dry.
I then used pure bleach, a painting brush and carefully teased out the fern shape with the brush, using the bleach removes the colour I originally sprayed on to reveal the shapes of the fern, like magic a fern appears.
I recommend framing with a mount so the painting isn't touching the glass.
Postage: Royal Mail second class, the art will be wrapped in a crystal clear sleeve and posted in a hard backed envelope for extra protection.
