Artistic background

1 am a self taught artist and painting and drawing is my hobby. I particularly enjoy drawing with pastels but I now also enjoy painting with watercolours and acrylic. I continue to learn new techniques and ideas by going to art classes and thoroughly enjoy creating new pieces of art weekly in class and in my spare time.
Drawing is a passion of mine, I feel I have always had a flare for it. I first started to experiment with graphite pencil portrait drawing and bought several books over the years and viewed YouTube artists, where I have gained techniques both from reading and watching these. I have developed my style of drawing over the passed few years. It's a hobby more so but I have such a love and determination to keep striving to improve, hence why | try different subjects now. Although my preference initially was drawing portraits of people, I have drawn many different subjects, from animals, flowers and landscapes to name a few. I now go once a week to art classes and thoroughly enjoy creating further art pieces whilst there. Enjoy viewing my art.
