Description
Bird Hide is part oil painting and part photography combined.
The scene is the view from a bird hide in Wrabness, Essex.
This artwork comes as a signed, limited edition Giclee print and is marked as 1 of 150 but I have since reduced the numbers to just 50. It is unmounted and unframed. Both available on request at an additional fee.
Here is a little writing to accompany the print:
Following only my intuition, I found this spot,
As I connect to the land between Essex and Suffolk.
Appreciating its beauty, each mile at a time
Like a new lover, I explore its contours.
What makes it different? What makes it new?
Working with the light, the wildlife, the reflections, the clouds,
I taste the salty air on my tongue,
My neck still moist from the long walk.
With my camera engaged and my senses alert,
The photographer’s eye scans for the perfect shot.
