Artistic background

I have spent 30 years as a professional photographer and during that time published 3 novels. I spent many years drawing and in 2023 decided to keep developing my creative side with a move into painting with oils. I am now the resident artist and the Marisa Arna Gallery in Thorpe-le-Soken, North Essex.

Interests

I love getting out in nature, capturing it with my camera and then taking it one step further by turning my photograph into a painting. I also love working with people. As a portrait photographer of many years, I find great pleasure in capturing images either with the paint brush or the camera.
